Operation Commando was a collaborative effort with partner agencies that addressed anti-social behaviour among young people in the Fleetwood area. Over the 12-month period, the initiative offered highly tailored diversionary activities, coaching, and mentoring to engage and support at-risk youth.
The project aimed to reduce instances of anti-social behaviour by providing constructive alternatives and support networks for young people. Match funding from Regenda Housing, Great Places Housing, Places for People Housing, Wyre Council, and Lofthouse Foundation enhanced the initiative’s resources and outreach.
Through partnership and targeted intervention, Operation Commando allowed for positive development and community cohesion, ultimately creating a safer and more inclusive environment for the youth of Fleetwood.
