Funding

LANPAC provides funding for a variety of crime prevention and community safety projects across Lancashire, submitted by Lancashire Constabulary employees on behalf of the community.

Application Terms and Conditions:

Applications:

  • Only Lancashire Constabulary employees can directly apply.
  • Projects must contribute to Lancashire Constabulary objectives to keep the people of Lancashire safe, and the priorities set out in the Police and Crime Commissioner’s Crime Plan.
  • While not mandatory, securing external or additional funding is encouraged and viewed favourably.
  • Applicants may request funding up to £2,500. For projects requiring additional support, larger amounts may be considered.
  • Proposals should include plans for sustainability beyond the funding period.
  • Purchases of tangible items should preferably be made from LANPAC members. Details about members can be found on this website under ‘membership’.
  • Applicants should utilise publicity, media, and photography opportunities to promote LANPAC effectively.
  • A detailed evaluation report and financial breakdown must be submitted at the conclusion of the project.

Applications should NOT be submitted:

  • For Police operational equipment.
  • For security at educational establishments or commercial premises.
  • To meet salary costs.
  • Road safety projects will not be considered as a priority.

We encourage community organisations to connect with their local police. To find out which Officers cover your area:

  1. Visit the Lancashire Constabulary website at www.lancashire.police.uk
  2. Click on the “Your Area” tab and select your location.
  3. Your local neighbourhood policing team will be listed. You can contact them by email using their collar number followed by @lancashire.police.uk
