Hosted on Wednesday 26th June 2024, this impactful session featured a survivor of modern slavery alongside Sion Hall from the Pan Lancashire Anti-Slavery Partnership. With 95 attendees, the webinar provided invaluable insights into how to recognise signs of modern slavery and highlighted the steps individuals and organisations can take to combat this critical issue.

Martyn’s Law with Figen Murray OBE Webinar

On Wednesday 3rd July 2024, Figen Murray OBE led this online seminar, sharing her personal journey advocating for Martyn’s Law – a proposed UK legislation that will require venues to enhance public safety measures. Named after Martyn Hett, a victim of the 2017 Manchester attack, the law will have nationwide implications for counter-terrorism efforts. The session explored the importance of security sector involvement, with over 50 delegates in attendance. 

Cyber Security for Businesses Webinar

This webinar, held on Wednesday 10th July 2024, featured Lancashire Constabulary’s Cyber Crime Unit, which provided essential updates on the latest threats to businesses. Attendees gained practical advice on safeguarding data and protecting businesses from cyber compromise.  efforts. The session explored the importance of security sector involvement, with over 50 delegates in attendance.

A Journey from Crime to Community Support Webinar

On Wednesday 7th August 2024, Darryl Kennedy, a former most-wanted criminal in Sydney, Australia, shared his unique perspective on crime and justice. Now an advocate for crime prevention, Darryl discussed his work supporting victims of domestic burglaries in the UK. Over 40 delegates participated, gaining insights into his transformative journey from crime to community support.
