In collaboration with Lancashire Constabulary and Lancashire’s Police and Crime Commissioner, we organised a series of Rural Crime Conferences throughout Lancashire. These conferences took place in Lancaster, Clitheroe, and Skelmersdale.
The primary aim of these gatherings was to outline the strategies of the Rural Task Force for policing rural Lancashire, with a focus on gathering community support. This provided an avenue for the Task Force to communicate their efforts in combating rural crime and allowed the community to contribute to the Task Force’s priorities for the upcoming 12 months.
Each conference featured presentations addressing current threats and highlighting the latest collaborative initiatives aimed at crime prevention and reduction. Collaborating with rural communities is crucial in the endeavour to combat and diminish crime, ensuring that rural Lancashire remains a secure environment for its residents.
