In partnership with Lancashire Constabulary, we hosted a conference for the Muslim community in Lancashire to discuss the procedures and processes involved in Muslim bereavement. The conference, attended by over 100 delegates including community groups and mosque representatives, featured presentations from various professionals including a senior coroner, coroner’s officer, religious leaders, and medical experts. The aim was to educate attendees about the roles of professional bodies and current protocols.
