Operation Knife Wand

Operation Knife Wand, involves Preston Police teaming up with Preston City Pub Watch. 12 knife wands have been purchased for use by licensed premises across Preston. These metal-detecting knife wands will be temporarily loaned to licensed venues, allowing door staff to scan individuals upon entry. The initiative aims to ensure venues prioritise customer safety in Preston’s nightlife scene.
